Apr 2016 – Falcon gets Hi Intensity LED Lights

Vocean  has purchased two  ROS L300 LED  lights  for the Falcon ROV.  These are for use in tunnel surveys to  facilitate better video in enclosed spaces. The lights are 5,000 Lumens each and Vocean has developed an optional system of difusers to prevent glare. These have been successfully deployed in a deep tunnel this month.
